This Center for Victim Research (CVR) publication provides an introduction to process evaluation, a part of program evaluation. The document defines process evaluation, describes the steps involved, and discusses how to conduct a process evaluation. Process evaluation can "provide information about a program’s driving forces and challenges...[and] increase a program’s transparency to stakeholders by identifying which elements have been successfully adopted." The document includes a visualization of program evaluation components and process evaluation steps.
