Abstract
This briefing deals with the critically important issue of program implementation. It describes
key implementation challenges in the context of evidence-based programs and presents research-
based strategies that can be used to facilitate sound implementation in real-world settings. It is
designed to help State Administrative Agencies (SAAs) and their grantees achieve positive pro-
gramming outcomes and realize the full potential of the evidence-based programs they adopt.
